Hamilton Resources Corporation, a management subsidiary of the Medmarc Insurance Group, a nationally licensed specialty underwriter with a 30-year history of successfully underwriting product liability insurance, seeks a high-energy person to fill an opening support our Lawyers’ Professional Liability line.  As an Executive Claims Examiner you will be responsible for:

• Investigating, evaluating, negotiating and settling professional liability claims of varying degrees of complexity.

• Coordinating and monitor the litigation of professional liability claims.

• Monitor and report on the status of all pending claims for the attorney malpractice program.  This includes both internal and external communications.

• Negotiating settlements with claimants and their representative within pre-established dollar amounts.

The ideal candidate has five to seven years experience performing similar duties.  A candidate with experience in auditing claims is preferred.  A willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time is required.
