Oversee systems development and staff in providing IT services globally. This position is responsible for providing senior IT direction for a broad set of IT functions across all PPD locations. The goal of this position is to ensure the IT requirements for their assigned set of IT functions is efficiently, effectively met by all involved IT staff.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the Contract Research/Pharmaceutical/Drug Development industry (must have extensive knowledge in the clinical trials process). Experience working in either the busines operations (Clinical Operations) or Information Technology. Experience in an IT/Clinical business liason role, working with senior business managers and 8 years management experience in an IT/Clinical function or staff and 8 years project management experience or similar leadership type role.
- 12+ experience in IT/Clinical operations or systems development and 2 years experience managing regulatory compliance of IT and 4 year degree in Computer Science or related area
- Or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the individual with the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

- Must be able to multi task and pay close attention to detail
- Strong management skills
