The Executive Director position has responsibility for directing Ohio Valley Home Health Services, Inc. including a variety of health services delivered to individuals in their homes. The service area includes the counties of Columbiana and Jefferson in Ohio; Hancock and Upper Brooke in West Virginia; and Beaver in Pennsylvania. The position reports to the Board of Trustees of Ohio Valley Home Health Services, Inc.

Ideally there are several elements that we’d like to have in any serious candidate for this position, including:

• Verifiable experience in the home health arena with an organization comparable to Ohio Valley Home Health Services
  
• In a management role for five-plus years in home health care
  
• Familiar with the issues and activities of daily operations in home health care
  
• Understand compliance with federal, state, and local rules and regulations with respect to various policies and procedures
  
• Conversant with our list of services, their delivery, and the likely issues associated with them
  
• Successfully interacted with a Board or a Leadership Committee including formal reports – financial and non-financial, consultation, information exchange, decision support, and timeliness

We are looking for someone who is able to manage the Home Health organization through effective leadership, training, and financial accountability. Also, we are seeking someone who is a leader/manager and highly credible.
