EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, St. Mary's Health Center Foundation:
The Executive Director serves as Chief Operating Officer managing the leadership and overall operations of the St. Mary's Health Center Foundation, which functions as a separate corporation. We are seeking a positive, influential leader with successful experience in building and leading a team to desires outcomes and goals; and a creative, pro-active change agent with a strong understanding and successful track record of improving overall satisfaction and operational results. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, strategic and financial planning, and all aspects of operations, development - fundraising, personnel and volunteer leadership. The Director organizes and implements a comprehensive fundraising program that contributes to the SSMHC-St. Louis goals of growth, efficiency, quality, and employee partnership. Working closely with the President of the Health Center, Board members, physicians, volunteers and community leaders the Executive Director successfully carries out Foundation plans and strategies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
•3-5 years health care fund raising experience
•Certified Fund Raising Executive (CRFE) preferred
•Bachelors degree required
•Excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate with donors, prospects, physicians, patients, friends, business and community leaders
•Leadership and sales skills necessary to impact the donation patterns of the philanthropic community
•Successful track record of positively impacting Foundation growth and development in a health care environment
•Accomplished ability to serve as an integral member of the Foundation financial team and make positive contributions

•High level of analytical ability to develop plans and objectives for assigned programs, and to be able to integrate these with the needs and priorities of the Health Center

•Persuasive presentation skills
•high level of familiarity with donors, prospects and others who could become potential supporters of the Foundation
•Working knowledge of donor's giving histories and their relationship's to the Health Center.
•Knowledge of basic management including finance, investments, budgeting, employee supervision and coaching
