We are looking for a full time Executive/Legal Assistant in our Corporate Legal Department in Wallingford, CT.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to General Counsel, Assistant General Counsel and other members in the Corporate Legal Department.
- Assist with preparation for board meetings and maintain minutes books for Amphenol and numerous subsidiaries.
- Assist with SEC filings, including Annual Proxy Statement and Annual Meeting material and other federal and state regulatory filings.
- Maintain various Corporate Summaries and Data Bases.
- Perform special projects with executive team members and other departments in a professional manner.
- Communicate information to board members, executive team members, department heads, co-workers, consultants and agents by telephone, letters, emails or in person.
- Proactively support day-to-day administrative activities of Legal Department.
- Provide assistance to Senior Management by performing confidential clerical and administrative duties.
- Position will be reporting to the company General Counsel and Assistant General Counsel.
Requirements:
- The candidate should possess excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills and be a team player.
- The candidate should be well organized, detail oriented and be able to deal with periodic time critical deadlines.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality is a must.
- Excellent PC skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to multi-task in an efficient manner.
- Must be energetic and be able to periodically work overtime.
- High School Diploma with at least 15 years secretarial/administrative assistant/Paralegal experience is required.
