CoWorx Staffing Services is currently seeking an experienced CNC Lathe operator for our client in Newburyport, MA. This is a full time temp to hire position.
Job Responsibilities:
Setup and operate all CNC lathes (Hardinge & Okuma experience a plus)
·100% first piece inspection
·Trouble shoot problems in all CNC areas
·Achieve all time standards
·Meet all Quality Requirements and use QC equipment
·Meet and follow all safety guidelines and lead by example
·Setup and run manual lathes and millers as required
·Must be able to run more than 1 job simultaneously
·Experience and knowledge of S.P.C.
·Knowledge and experience with cutter selection
·Experience with High-temp alloys
·Must follow AS9100 procedures
QUALIFICATIONS:
Skills:
- Excellent CNC lathe operator experience required
- Programming and Cad/Cam skills a plus
- Ability to follow directions and also work independently
Education and/or Experience:
- Experience with Hardinge and/or Okuma preferred
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Cad School courses a plus
- 5 year minimum CNC Lathe overall experience
