A major manufacturer of oilfield drill bits has job openings for experienced bit salesmen in North Dakota.

The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 years experience selling both roller cone and fixed cutter (PDC) bits at the rig site in either Wyoming or in North Dakota. 

The candidate must have a good understanding of bit application, be able to make related recommendations to the customer, and have the ability to dull grade a used bit, either roller cone or fixed cutter. 

In addition, the candidate must have a good understanding of typical drilling practices as well as being familiar with the wide variety of operators / contractors who are working in these areas. 

Ideally, the candidate must be able to demonstrate a track record of making bit sales to various operators throughout either area. 

Candidate must be able to complete appropriate paperwork and communicate effectively with engineers and management.
