Florida Physicians Medical Group is seeking dynamic Experienced Oncology Physicians Assistant to help us achieve our Mission -To extend the healing ministry of Christ. Flexible quick learner who adapts easily to new situations and enjoys a challenge. This opportunity is based at Florida Hospital Orlando Medical Plaza. · Evaluate new patients: take history and perform pertinent physical examination.
· Provide post transplant care and follow-up
· Coordinate care of patients: testing and preparation for procedures
· Ensure availability and completeness of documentation, reports and imaging examinations.
· Provide patient education, counseling and instruction.
· Follow-up care
· Dictate progress notes, history and physical, and discharge summaries (not to include determining diagnosis or treatment plan).
Requirements:
· Holds a current license and is in good standing
· Maintains certification in accordance with Department of Regulations
· Able to perform health care tasks in radiation oncology delegated by supervising physician efficiently and effectively consistent with patient’s health and welfare
· Able to obtain and sustain clinical hospital privileges
· Excellent interpersonal skills
· Ability to work with minimum supervision
· Ability to travel distances within the surrounding community
· Good diagnostic capabilities
· Maintain privileges at hospitals/institutions as required
· Graduate of an approved program or its equivalent
· Meets the standards set by the Board of Medicine
· Experience in clinical setting preferred
