About the Job

Busy growing CPA firm located in Burlington, MA seeks important addition to our Front Office team. This is an administrative position that shares receptionist duties with the other Front Office team members. 


 


We seek an experienced administrative assistant  who is highly accurate in her work production, as billing is a major part of this position.  A customer service oriented demeanor and excellent phone skills are also required.  Overtime is required during Tax Season. Prior experience in Professional Services is a plus!  


 


Qualifications




  • Four+ years of prior administrative assistant/receptionist experience in a professional services/corporate environment


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook a must


  • Excellent written and oral communication skills


  • Strong judgment, organizational and time management skills - be able to prioritize and manage various projects at once


  • Be a proactive team player who can also work independently when necessary


  • Professionalism and a strong sense of confidentiality are crucial to this position as is attention to detail.


  • A personable and client-oriented professional with an excellent phone presence


  • Additional hours during tax season are required.


  • Exposure to ProSystems Fx software products is a plus

 


Responsibilities
 

This individual is responsible for a variety of administrative and accounting-related duties within the company.   Primary duties include, but are not limited to: 





  • Assist with all components of the Client Billing Process - Accuracy a must!


  • Generate finance-related correspondence as required


  • Office supply management


  • Interact with clients regularly  - Handle client phone calls and requests


  • Assist with processing tax returns and related documents, as needed


  • Establish and maintain efficient client files



  • Receptionist duties


  • Perform other administrative duties and complete special projects as assigned
