Export Compliance Manager/Empowered Official

The Export Compliance Manager will interface with Export Control Experts at DOS, DOC, and other government agencies for successful implementation of government regulations in context of Business Operations.  The individual will also interface with Engineering, Program Management, Operations, and Contracts/Subcontracts business leaders to grow and support the business operations by  developing Technical Assistance Agreements (TAAs), Manufacturing License Agreements (MLAs), license agreements, Technology Transfer Control Plans (TTCPs), and other Export and Import documentation, as well as DSP-5s  and other license applications as necessary, including BIS applications. Other responsibilities include preparing OFOISR applications, conducting and/or supporting audits of import/export activities, and drafting voluntary disclosures if necessary.  The individual will interface with shipping personnel to make certain that all policies, procedures, and U.S. Government Export and Import regulations are being followed.   The Export Compliance Manager will provide independent assessment of documents planned for Export to ascertain compliance with licenses and provisos.    In addition,  the individual will have the responsibility to work with the Training Specialist to develop Trade Compliance training modules and lead Trade Compliance training through functional expertise  The individual will develop all facility access plans for Foreign National Visitors.  The Export Compliance Manager will also supervise the Export Compliance Administrator.

Bachelor's Degree required.  A minimum of five years in the export controls area, particularly with ITAR and EAR (Export Administration Regulations) is required.  Demonstrated ability to work well with a variety of people across all levels is a must.  Strong writing and presentation skills coupled with strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize are also required.   Must be a U.S. citizen and be able to obtain a security clearance.
