Full-time position in the Department of Natural Sciences and Applied Technology with responsibilities for:
1. Teaching the equivalent of 5 sections each semester from the Department’s offerings in Physics I and II, University Physics I and II, Survey of Physics, Astronomy, and Special Topics in Astronomy.
2. Serving as academic advisor to approximately 18 students.
3. Holding a minimum of 4 office hours each week.
4. Serving on Department and College committees.
5. Participating actively in the Department’s evaluation, development, and implementation of lecture and laboratory curriculum.
6. Working with the Department laboratory technician to coordinate inventory, supplies and laboratory set-ups.
7. Maintaining Physics and Astronomy equipment and setting up laboratory settings.
8. Collaborate to further College’s STEM initiatives, including appropriate secondary school activities and partnerships with students and faculty.
