FERC Compliance Analyst

In this position you will be responsible for managing and achieving corporate-wide compliance with applicable North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) and Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC) Reliability Standards. Additionally, you will act as the lead regarding FERC, NERC and WECC regulations, orders and statutes with internal business departments, regional compliance forums and regulators.

Qualifications typically include 15 years of applicable regulatory experience, or a bachelor’s degree plus 10 years of related experience. Comprehensive knowledge of FERC regulations and compliance programs is essential. The ability to prepare and deliver organized, succinct and persuasive regulatory filings, reports and presentations required. Working knowledge of electricity markets including transmission, grid operations, capacity, power operations, OASIS requirements and firm transmission rights required.
