Key Responsibilities
- Support underwriting by computing rates and premiums for all insurance policies;
- Accept or reject template risks;
- Provide customer service to producers;
- Review policy documentation, determine applicable regulations, procedures and special instructions;
- Approve and process risks which fall within established parameters;
- Rate policies, using computerized or manual processes, compute premiums from rates and exposure;
- Prepare premium and loss exhibits; and
- Provide support services, including endorsement processing, cancellations and reinstatement of canceled policies (within authority).

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience
- Knowledge of regulations, forms and procedures for lines of business;
- Skills to rate and process various types of policies;
- Skills to operate computer equipment, use division applications and vendor software;
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills; and
- General knowledge of underwriting classes, forms, procedures, coverages and workflow for assigned lines.
