Fowler Products Company, A Division of Pro Mach Inc., is a technology-driven Athens, GA manufacturer of high-performance capping machinery and cap-feeding systems.  We have earned strong customer loyalty and recognition as a leader in capping technology, in part, by providing outstanding 24/7 service support. 

We are seeking a talented electrical/mechanical technician to join our growing team. 

Responsibilities

• Installation, start-up, repair, and troubleshooting in all phases of mechanical and electrical operations of bottle capping machines. 
• Provide customer training regarding the operation & service of our machinery.
• Aftermarket field part sales.

Skills

• Successful candidate must possess strong mechanical and electrical background and be willing to travel extensively within the US (up to 85%).
• Good communication & interpersonal skills and a strong customer service focus with the intent to get the customer up & running as soon as possible.
• Thorough knowledge of Allen Bradley Programmable Logic Controllers for motion control applications, wiring, circuit diagrams, Variable Frequency Drives, and RS View Panelbuilding software. 
• Excellent customer service skills; ability to train customer personnel on equipment.
• Experience with packaging machinery preferred.

Qualifications

• Two to three years experience in machinery repair and PLC programming.

Location to within 2 hours of Athens is preferred but may be negotiable based on skill level and experience.  Can work from home when not traveling on assignment.  Must be within 1.5 hours from a major airport.
