A well-known Maine accredited social services organization is looking for a Finance Manager. We are a private, not- for-profit agency helping others throughout the State of Maine.
Responsible for assisting the Director of Finance in the financial management of the organization. Since a high percentage of the organization's revenue comes from the Federal Government and the State of Maine, the Finance Manager should be familiar with MaineCare and its reporting requirements, including State health and welfare grants.
The Finance Manager will be responsible for preparing the complete set of financial statements. He/she will have a significant role in the accounts payable/disbursement process. Experience with QuickBooks is required.
