Profitable, multi-national, publicly-traded consumer products company in San Francisco is seeking a Finance Manager to support the corporate FP&A function.  The manager will be responsible for consolidating budgets and forecasts at the corporate level, and will ultimately have responsiblity for an entire BU P&L.  Manager will have significant interaction with executive management.  This role will also involve modeling and scenario analysis.   We are seeking someone hands-on but highly promotable.  This position is open due to growth.

This role will have two Senior Financial Analysts reporting to it.  Approximately 30% of the responsibilities involve accounting (accruals, etc), so this person absolutely must have some accounting experience!

* Tracks financial status by monitoring variances from plan.

* Determines financial status by comparing and analyzing plans and forecasts with actual results.

* Improves financial status by analyzing results and variances; identifying trends; recommending actions.

* Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data.

* Increases productivity by developing automated applications; eliminating duplications; coordinating information requirements.

* Provides information to management by assembling and summarizing data; preparing reports; making presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations.


Skills/Qualifications:
6-8 years financial analysis experience

Experience managing analysts or accountants

Absolutely MUST have financial accounting experience!

Extremely strong financial modeling skills on Excel

Proactive, creative, and highly motivated with strong written and verbal communications

MBA or CPA a plus

SAP experience and/or Essbase a plus
