POSITION REQUIREMENTS

St Joseph's Strategic Planning and Business Development Department has a full time opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our organization! Responsible for delivery of financial information related to financial performance improvement and operational efficiency activities. The goal is to provide accurate and timely information to management by providing opportunity identification, information sources, data collection and analysis, workflow analysis, statistical analysis, benchmark determination, process improvement design and measurement using written and graphic reports and presentations.

As part of the responsibilities above, will also be responsible for payer analysis which includes working with key administrative and clinical leadership to understand payer needs for existing and new services and is responsible for developing SJHMC-specific financial requirements, analysis and data to support our contracts. Additionally, conducts evaluation of expected and actual yield on specific contracts and identifies opportunities for improvement.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Educational Requirements:
Master's degree and CPA or eight years related experience with BA degree in related field required.

Experience Requirements:
Five years accounting or finance experience with at least two years in a tertiary hospital setting.

Business Development, Strategic Planning and/or Project Management experience is Preferred.
