Prepares and analyzes rate models for financial planning and
control.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analyzes
  existing rates to ensure they conform to company expectations.
• Analyzes
  proposals and applications for changes in rates, and newly approved rate
  changes to determine required changes in company’s rate structure.
• Prepares
  and analyzes rate information to determine present and future financial
  performance.
• Establishes
  databases of pertinent information for use in analyzing future range
  changes.
• Identifies
  trends and recommends improvements accordingly.
• Prepares
  revised rate schedules.
• Interacts
  with regulatory staff and consultants as needed.
• Performs
  ad hoc reports and analyses as requested.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred, or
equivalent of knowledge.

Requires 2-4 years related experience.  Detailed knowledge of financial and
statistical analysis.  Strong
analytical skills.  Excellent Excel
spreadsheet skills.

Needs to have had experience in transportation, construction or the waste services industries.
