The Level 2 Perimeter Security Operations Engineer is a senior security analyst position that will be part of the Global Perimeter Security Operations team and support the perimeter security components of the global network. Review of information security related problems and projects to ensure requirements are met while upholding the standards, policies, and guidelines required to run a security, stable infrastructure.
Competencies:
Key Skills / Qualifications
- Certification on Check Point, Juniper firewall/SSL VPN, and/or Bluecoat Proxy.
- CISSP preferred but not required.
- Demonstrated skills with Unix/Linux and networking.
- Strong verbal and written skills.
- Minimum 5 years experience support information security technologies (firewalls, proxies, VPN, IDS, etc...) in an operational capacity.
- Experience with Perl and other scripting preferred.
