Newly created position due to growth and expansion. This is an innovative company located an hour north of Atlanta in Northwestern Georgia. THIS IS IN A FOOD MANUFACTURING ENVIRONMENT.
- Development and execution of customer quality programs and systems
- Manages and maintains HACCP and prerequisite programs including documentation review
- Updates/writes SOPs for the company in regards to quality or safety of products
- Develops forms/documentation to support above SOPs
- Document control & records
- Employee Food Safety & Quality Training
- Manages and maintains Allergen Control Program
- Environmental Monitoring Program – development, implementation and corrective actions
- Self-assessments and self-audits of Quality Systems, documentation & records related to the quality or safety of the products. Publishes reports and tracks corrective action.
- Food Defense/Security
- Facilitates 3rd party, regulatory and customer audits
- Works with QA Manager to develop corrective actions for customer and third party audits.
- Publishes the monthly inspections for both facilities and tracts corrective actions.
- Obtain HACCP Certification
- Obtain SQF Certification
- Reports to the Quality Manager and has No direct reports.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 4 Year degree in (Biology, Chemistry, Food Science or related field)
- 4+ Years experience in Food Safety or Quality in Food Manufacturing
- Must have experience in HACCP, SOP’s. SQF, ISO, BRT or TQM experience a plus.
