We offer exceptional experience and expertise in optoelectronic hardware and software development, ranging from optical components, integrated modules and subsystems, to full system architecture and design.  Our understanding of optical technology assures a quick understanding of our customer’s needs and the ability to deliver optimum solutions with short development cycles.  We also manufacture several products for OEM customers and have a line of FPGA IP Cores.


 


Team Responsibilities:  Design, analyze/simulate, test and integrate electro-optic systems.  Successful applicants will utilize state of the art components and design methods to develop the high bandwidth electronics and optical designs for advanced mixed technology products.  Typical products include fiber optic systems, laser systems, and imaging systems.  The following positions are available:


 


FPGA Designer


 


Education:  BSEE or higher required. 


 


Experience:  Minimum of 5 years FPGA design experience.


 


Position Description:  Design, simulation and test of FPGA and PLD devices.  Verilog language experience is required.  Experience with FPGA tools (e.g., ACTEL, Xilinx, Altera), and working knowledge of RTL simulation tools such as ModelSim is required.  Duties include:


 


·         Development of  FPGA specifications.


·         Development of detailed architectures.


·         RTL implementation in Verilog.


·         Development of test benches and design verification/simulation.


·         FPGA floor planning, place and route.


·         Target FPGA device selection and pin assignments.
