The ideal candidate would have years of experience in VHDL/Verilog designs - as well as being  familiar with MPEG2 transport streams (TS), as well as a working knowledge of compressed and baseband video.

Also experience with embedded control systems - both in FPGA development (NIOS/MicroBlaze) as well as stand alone uProcessors - both in architecting these types of systmes, as well as the interfaces/buses associated - DDR2, I2C, CAN, USB, SPI, etc.

Other knowledge of hardware design/component selection is also desired.  Schematic capture and board layout is a plus.  Any DSP and signal processing is also a plus.
