FULL SERVICE HOTEL/RESORT DIRECTOR OF FOOD & BEVERAGE NEEDED
140+ Room Full Service hotel and resort has an immediate need in Lincoln City, Oregon for an experienced, outgoing, interactive Director of Food & Beverage. Concentrating on local candidates first. Will consider SOLID candidates outside of the Coastal region who are currently living in OREGON AND/OR WASHINGTON.
Requirements:
Director of Food & Beverage Experience with a similar hotel/resort (140-200 rooms, full service hotels & resorts).
Experience managing full service hotel with banquets, room service, and full-service fine dining restaurant within a hotel/resort atmosphere.
Able to manage within somewhat of a corporate atmosphere. Company has multiple properties in the West Coast.
MUST have Hotel Banquet experience
Must have experience with budgeting, controlling Food & Labor & all Costs within a seasonal and local atmosphere.
Hotel's restaurant attracts heavy seasonal and local crowd.
Must be personable, outgoing, very comfortable interacting with staff, management at all levels, and most importantly, with guests. This is a guest-oriented atmosphere - not a customer-oriented one.
Lincoln City, Oregon is a seasonal destination. Must be able to manage costs and controls within this atmosphere.
Restaurant is award winning, with an award winning Executive Chef, who is very ambitious with future plans for the restaurant. The Director of F&B will manage the Chef, and FOH staff of the restaurant in addition to all F&B duties.
This is a Director of Food & Beverage position, with GM duties over the restaurant, which is located in the hotel.
Not a standard 40 Hour Work Week. Must be flexible to work more/less hours per week.
Must be hands-on, on the floor, visible. Must have experience building and maintaining guest relationships.
Banquets/Events experience is a must.
Hotel has recently completed renovations.
Restaurant's cuisine is seafood-oriented. Executive Chef has won several People's Choice Awards for the hotel's restaurant and menus.
Bonus is up to 20% of salary. Full benefits (PTO, health, medical, dental, discounts for company's properties).
