Exelon Nuclear is looking for a Facilities/HVAC Maintenance Technician at our Quad Cities Station in Cordova, IL (25 miles north of the Quad Cities) with a strong preference for some HVAC experience. Rate is $26.52 per hour and is a union position.  

The Facilities Maintenance Technician shall be responsible for non-power block facilities maintenance duties to include non-power block electrical, HVAC, plumbing and general facility maintenance. Additionally, the technician will be responsible for general exterior maintenance, mowing and site snow removal.

Required:

- High school diploma or educational equivalent
- Ability to pass pre-employment testing
- Ability to work overtime outside of normal work shift
- Ability to receive unescorted nuclear access
- Valid driver's license

Preferred:

- Two or more years of experience in performing the electrical and/or mechanical duties
required or recognized by the company as to have the proven ability to perform any and all
work required by the position.
- Basic computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel and Internet use
- Experience reading blue prints.
- Experience working at a nuclear site
- Previous HVAC experience
- Previous experience with site facilities maintenance processes and procedures
- Local candidates, no relocation is offered
- Excellent communication, teamwork and organizational skills
