Facilities Maintenance Technician - Columbus



 

Part-Time Opportunity - 20 hours a week

  • Do you have expertise in preventative maintenance field and act as a self starter?
  • Do you have a proven track record of working in a customer service focused environment?
  • Would you enjoy burning the roads in company maintained vehicle at our multiple locations?

 

We are looking for 2 part-time Maintenance Tech who will perform repairs and maintenance in our early childhood education schools.  This maintenance and preventative maintenance includes:

 

·        Plumbing of fixtures, drains, pipes and sprinkler systems

·        Electrical diagnosis and repair including interior and exterior light fixtures, switches, and outlets

·        HVAC diagnosis and potential repair

·        Appliance repair

·        Cabinetry installation

·        Drywall and punch-outs

·        Painting internal and external environments

·        Repair of outdoor play equipment, fencing and gutters

·        Minor roof repair.

 

Requirements:

 

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Three (3) years experience in a preventative maintenance role
  • Strong internal customer service
  • Sense of urgency and ability to work with little direction
  • Computer proficiency and adaptability to an electronic based work order system
  • Ability to meet continuous multiple deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal communication
  • Ability to vary work hours, if necessary (nights and weekends)
  • Ability to be on call 24/7
  • Must be able to travel in the local vicinity, as well as outside the local area.
