Wagner Equipment Co., the Caterpillar dealer for Colorado, New Mexico and far west Texas has an excellent career opportunity for a Maintenance Technician. The position is required to perform general maintenance to facilities with minimal supervision.
ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education Required: High School Diploma or GED
Minimum Experience Required
• 5+ years commercial maintenance technician experience
• Considerable experience working with single phase (electrical)
• Some experience with three phase and control maintenance (electrical)
• Some overhead door experience (mechanical)
• Some washbay experience is a plus
• Some HVAC experience
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
Technical:
• Repairs small equipment, including sweepers, scrubbers, landscape equipment, and small engines
• Performs general construction (plumbing, electrical, mechanical, etc.)
• Performs landscaping functions, including tending commercial sprinklers and controls, mowing/pruning grass and bushes
• Performs electrical work that involves knowledge of 3 phase, trouble shooting controls and installation of circuit runs
• Inspects, adjusts, and repairs blowers, filters and controls
• Performs pluming functions, including installing fixtures, installing pipe systems and repairing water recycling systems
• Repairs and maintains HVAC systems
• Performs mechanical repairs and maintenance, including commercial overhead doors, overhead cranes, pumps and air compressors
