Facilities Manager
Description: - Respond to client need and coordinate with maintenance staff to resolve problems. Maintains positive relationships and high retention levels with all clients. Responds to all problems and concerns and ensures compliance with rules and regulations.
- Act as primary client and project management contact for designated sites.
- Coordinate activities according to established budgets and schedules.
- Coordinate vendors, consultants and/or project management staff to execute work activities.
- Coordinate vendor approval process to allow badge approval and or access (as needed) for FRC cases and or small project work only.
- Oversee small projects and perform periodic job inspections to compare progress of work to the schedule; Assist in budget forecasting for the FRC/FSO/TMCC expense construction and adhere to prepared site budgets, explaining variances and forecasting as needed.
- Act as liaison between Service Vendor Managers, reception/mailroom and on-site services (reception, mailroom, CBC, office supplies, beverage program).
- Maintain detailed knowledge of landlord responsibilities and assist WPMs to ensure local property management adheres to lease obligations.
- Coordinate with and provide support to the O&M team to assure optimal functioning of building systems.
- Oversee the quality of service provided to each site and escalate as needed to the appropriate person/vendor manager. Assist vendor manager in obtaining quality vendors and services by supporting the team in obtaining quality vendors, while achieving cost containment.
- Submit facility maintenance cases, as needed, and provide recommendations for project forecasting; Monitor open cases and provide feedback and support to the FRC.
- Provide on-site workplace resources support and coordination for all Cisco employees at designated locations.
- Assist Maintenance and Ops with after hours support and coordination for critical facilities issues. Primary locations may require onsite support, but remote locations will be provided support via phone and coordination with FRC.
- Assist in the management and monitoring of all phases of project management including design, construction, occupancy, quality control, staffing, and budget management.
- Interface with clients to define project requirements. Establishes project work plan and deadlines.
- Creates persuasive presentations that meet the projects objectives
- Tracks progress of projects against goals, objectives, timelines, and budgets, and generate reports on status. Monitors expenses to ensure they fall within the prescribed budget.
- Facilitates client meetings regarding project matters.
- Works closely with other functional areas of the organization, project contractors, internal team members, external collaborators, customers and suppliers.
- Responsible for monitoring 2 large locations in the Albuquerque and Las Cruces areas.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university and a minimum of four to six years of related experience and/or training.
- Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex business documents.
- Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style.
- Ability to effectively respond to sensitive issues, complex inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, supervisor, and/or management.
- Ability to make effective presentations on general topics to an internal department, large group of employees, clients, and/or management.
- Ability to motivate employees and client groups to take desired action.
- Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Able to forecast and prepare budgets.
- Conduct financial/business analysis including the preparation of reports.
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to read and understand architectural drawings and CADD experience preferred along with knowledge of leases, contracts, and construction practices.
- Experience with Generators, UPSs, and switch gears
- Experience with critical facilities sites/infrastructures
