Job Description

Facilities Planner Manager/Program Manager

Key Role:
Assist with organizing and overseeing facility planning, logistics management, and Military Construction (MILCON) coordination efforts for the future Marine Corps Base (MCB) Guam. Coordinate master planning, real estate planning, environmental assessments, and scheduling with Headquarters Marine Corps (HQMC) Facilities and Service Division (LF), Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC), Third Marine Corps Expeditionary Force (III MEF) units, Joint Guam Program Office (JGPO), consultants, and others to ensure USMC's interests are represented and fulfilled. Support MCB Guam and coordinate with counterparts at Marine Corps Installations Mid-Pacific (MCI-MidPac). Generate decision briefings, support studies and analyses, and prepare flag-level correspondence on relevant personnel issues. Track and analyze execution data and create initial and revised reports within the timeline required in order to meet program deadlines. Prepare initial, revised, and final responses to execute data calls within the established deadlines. Prepare documentation in accordance with the client's requested data call standard. This position is to support the Defense Posture Review Initiative (DPRI) Planning Group at MCI-MidPac in Camp Smith, HI.

Basic Qualifications:
-7+ years of experience with facilities management, logistics management, Military construction, or in defense or Military environment
-Experience with the US Military and Military personnel requirements and regulations
-Experience with project management and site and facility planning requirements
-Experience with managing multiple projects simultaneously
-Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
-Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree
 
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with US Marine Corps preferred
-Experience with USMC policy
-Knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental laws, including DoD and USMC regulations
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-Possession of excellent presentation skills
-PMP Certification
-EIT or PE a plus

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
