To provide treatment for the adult population under therapist care. Treatment is provided by group therapy, individual sessions, family contact, and legal contact. Must have Masters degree in counseling or related fields and be nationally certified or licensed by the state (LAPC,LMSW,NCC) or and Ed.S with no license and must be licensed eligible (must hold license within one year of hire date).Knowledge of DSM IV diagnostic criteria. Ability to deal with crisis and potentially combative patients while maintaining personal and emotional terminology.

QUALIFICATIONS:

·        Master's Degree plus at least one year of training in a specialty resulting in certification.

·        One year of related experience.

·        Must have Master’s degree in counseling or related fields and be nationally certified or provisionally licensed by the state of Georgia (LAPC, LMSW, NCC)- or and Ed.S. with no license (must be license eligible and hold a license within 1 year of hire date. Substance Abuse counselors must have a bachelor’s degree with certification or the equivalent of a CAC-II.
