PwC's Internal Firm Services (IFS) staff members provide strategic services to our internal clients in the areas of Administration, Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, Infrastructure, Knowledge Management, Learning & Education (L&E), Marketing & Sales, National Special Functions, Office of the General Counsel (OGC), and Risk Management. PricewaterhouseCoopers is currently seeking a qualified individual for the following position: Federal Contracts Manager

Summary Description:
The primary responsibility of this position is to perform contract management and administration functions for PwC's Public Service Sector Federal Practice Contracts Department. The employee will interact daily with Partners, Staff, the Risk Management Partner, OGC, Security, Finance, SSG, Ethics and Compliance and JBR Management Group in managing the execution, management and administration of contracts. An integral responsibility will be to lead in the identification, avoidance and mitigation of risk as it relates to all aspects and areas contracts and our business and in compliance with PwC risk management policies. The Contracts Manager will act as a lead contractual/business advisor and support to their assigned Partners and staff and will report to the WFP Director of Contracts. A critical role for the Contract Manager is to perform all customer interface functions with the government contracting officials and representatives as well as PwC's prime contractors authorized points of contacts.

Job Responsibilities:
Act as the primary dedicated resource for all contractual matters to assigned Partners.
Review all contractual documents for conformance to PwC policies and protocol. Such contracts are Nondisclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements, Blanket Purchase Agreements, GSA Contracts and Orders, Government Wide Acquisition Contracts, ID/IQ Contracts, Subcontractor Agreements, etc.
Facilitate the review of contractual documents by the various disciplines in the summary above and act as the WFP central point for dispensation and resolution of all comments and concerns.
Act as PwC's primary customer interface on contractual matters.
Negotiate with customers PwC's contractual objectives to final agreement.
Review government solicitations to perform risk management analysis.
Advise Partners and problem solve risk issues that are caused by the solicitations.
Advise contract win strategies to Partners in the pursuit of new business.
Perform lead contractual role in the preparation of price proposals including special terms, conditions and assumptions.
Ensure the PwC business teams have received appropriate Independence clearances for JBRs.
Oversee the preparation of official contract and proposal files to include all required documentation as well as manage their storage in the PwC file system.
Ensure compliance with contract requirements.
Perform day to day contract administration such as working with the customer to interpret requirements, addressing invoice/payment issues and deliverable acceptance matters.
Coordinate with the Subcontract Department on the issuance of all subcontract agreements to PwC subcontractors and assist in subcontractor contractor management and administration as appropriate.
Help develop the career and working knowledge of junior members of the contract department's team.
Assist or lead special projects for the Contracts Department as assigned.

Education Required
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.

Job Requirements
U.S. citizenship is REQUIRED

6+ years of experience working as a Contracts professional within the Federal Government marketplace
Strong working knowledge of the FAR, DFAR, IDIQ and GSA schedule contracting methods
Understanding of contractual requirements of Cost Accounting Standards
Understanding of cost and pricing methodologies and strategies
Expert knowledge of FFP, T&M and Cost Reimbursement type contracts
CPCM is a plus
