Deloitte's Civilian Segment is currently searching for a Federal Financial Manager.
Location: Washington, DC
Performance Profile:
- Leading 5-6 person Federal Financial Management Business Process Improvement (BPI) team for a Federal agency's Accounting organization
- Advising the client on how to improve their Accounting-related processes and communicate and manage changes as improvements are implemented
- Leading the team
through the delivery of Federal Financial Management assessments, BPI and change management deliverables as necessary
- Assisting in proposal development on upcoming contract re-competition
- Mentoring team members, managing the engagement financials, driving team performance, and participating in other management activities
- Interacting with clients on a daily basis, building solid relationships and gaining their trust
- A fully adjudicated Top Secret clearance is REQUIRED
Position-specific Requirements:
- The candidate must possess at least 10 years' relevant experience, including:
- FULL, ACTIVE TOP SECRET CLEARANCE
- Leadership and team-building experience
- Experience advising clients on improving business processes, preferably in the federal financial area
- Project management experience
- Experience managing and mentoring teams
- Experience in government consulting
- Communicating with Federal Financial Management professionals
- Bachelors Degree in
business, accounting, or related area
Position Desired Skills:
- CGFM or CPA a plus
- Knowledge of Earned Value Management
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher
- PMP Certification
