Deloitte is seeking Human Capital Senior Consultants to support consulting engagements that optimize human capital and workforce strategies, plans and practices that deliver results for Federal Agencies. You will develop workforce strategies, plans and initiatives that align to the client's Human Capital and HR strategies and integrate into the agency's overarching talent management system. The Senior Consultant will provide leadership and support.
Performance Profile
The senior consultants will
be responsible for advising Federal Agencies and providing direction to the project engagement team in the following areas:
• Developing, analyzing, evaluating, and advising on methods and techniques to improve workforce and succession planning strategies and near and long term planning.
• Conducting HR workforce studies involving analysis of broad program, functions and organizations
• Provides technical expertise in support of conducting studies, analysis, and benchmarking related to workforce and strategic planning.
• Conducting skills/competency analysis within the current workforce and analyze and providing solutions to remediate competency gaps to support Federal agency missions.
• Will support typical aspects of a workforce planning engagement such as:
o Workforce demographic analysis
o Competency modeling
o Supply analysis
o Demand analysis
o Gap analysis
o Human Capital solutions and strategies identification
o Workforce plan
development
Position Requirements
Senior Consultants must have a minimum of 3+ years' relevant Federal experience or consulting team-oriented environment in one or more of the following areas:
- Workforce transition
- Organization design and governance
- Learning capability and transfer
- Communication strategy, planning, and execution
- Talent requirements and HR programs
- People risk and impact management
- Leadership design and stakeholder engagement
· BS/BA in human resources management, I/O Psychology, organizational development, public policy or fields related to above
· 3+ Years of experience in external consulting; federal consulting experience preferred
· 4+ years experience with Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access
· Demonstrated 4+ years experience in developing written documentation for the various communications
· 2+ years' general
knowledge of Federal HR standards, guidelines, principles and practices
· Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills
Qualifications Desired
· Management, I/O Psychology, organizational Master or PhDs in human resources development, public policy or fields related to above
· Professional certification or memberships (e.g., SHRM - SPHR/PHR, SIOP, IPMA)
· Experience supporting DOD clients preferred
· Active clearance preferred; must be clearable
· 2+ years of experience leading project teams on relevant Federal change management, communications and training engagements.
