Federal Sales Account Executive – CAE Software
Washington DC Area or Orange County, CA
NEi Software is a leading CAE software company with a global Fortune 500 customer base including FedEx, Lockheed Martin, Toyota, NASA, Hitachi, Cessna, and Northrup Gruman. NEi is looking for a proven Federal sales account executive to expand existing Navy / DOD sales and grow sales to National Labs nationwide. While NEi has a strong base of Navy / DOD accounts the focus of this position is new business development. In the DC area this is a home office position working closely with a Northern VA based senior pre-sales, support and consulting engineer.
Qualifications
· Extensive experience selling to the Federal Government
· Technical solution selling experience
· Experience selling to major government agencies
· Proven sales experience selling department solutions to engineers & engineering managers
· Ability to prepare and deliver solid business cases and do ROI analysis for decision makers
· Ability to identify and close significant new accounts
· General knowledge of the CAE, CAD or related engineering software markets.
· Strong organization and negotiation skills
· Advanced interpersonal and presentation skills
· Advanced verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
· Navy and DOD sales experience strongly preferred
· National Lab Sales experience also a plus
· CAE, FEA, PLM or related engineering software knowledge and sales experience
· 10 years or more of Navy, Navy contractor and DOD would be ideal
· Degree in Business, Marketing or Engineering
· ACT or related CRM experience
