Project Time & Cost, Inc., an Atlanta, GA based international cost and forensic engineering firm is currently seeking Federal Sales Managers for Arlington, VA.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, maturing deals through the process, and closing new contracts for the firm
• Developing and executing targeted account plans in the public sector market
• Develop and executing focused call plans to identify and connect with new clients in new markets
• Develop and manage a robust opportunity pipeline of at least 3X annual sales quota
• Identifying and properly qualifying business opportunities throughout the sales cycle
• Prospecting in both existing accounts and new “white space” targets
• Developing, articulating, and delivering the PT&C value proposition to executive levels of organizations
• Developing and maintaining relationships with “C-Level” clients and decision makers
• Collaborating with the PT&C Marketing & Sales Support team on development of proposals and responses to requests for quotes (RFQs); participating in team reviews; development of “win themes”
• Leading negotiations, coordinating complex decision-making process, and overcoming objections to closure
• Represent the company at various community and/or business meetings to promote the company
• Promote positive relations with partners, vendors, and clientele
• Accurately forecast potential sales and anticipated closing date to allow for adequate allocation of resources and projections of revenue and profit
• Other duties as assigned

• Experience carrying an annual sales quota and meeting or exceeding sales targets

Education and/or Experience
• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university (preferably in Marketing and/or Sales); or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5+ years of business development and sales experience within Federal Agencies
• Experience with proposal preparation, specific to a government contractor
• Proven track record of consistently exceeding corporate objectives and quotas
• Successful candidates will have at least 5 years experience with professional services business development & sales in the federal market.
• Successful candidates will have experience with the federal sales cycle and process, and understand selling of multiple government schedules and contract vehicles.
Priority will be given to candidates with understanding and experience in selling services around project management, risk management, cost engineering & estimation, and environmental management.
The purpose of this position is to successfully sell PT&C services within the US government, including the Department of Defense (DoD) and uniformed services (Army, Navy, Air Force, etc.), federal civilian agencies, state & local agencies, and other organizations by performing the following duties.
