Federal Services – Accounting & Finance – Manager

Manager of Federal Financial Statement Preparation
 
 
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
 
-Manage and assist with the entire government financial statement preparation process on a quarterly basis.  Perform internal controls for accounting and budget operations and provide recommendations for improvements.
-Lead a 5 person engagement with task areas in accounting, BPI, system testing, and budge execution support services.
-Monitor and resolve team related task issues.
 
 
Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
-Knowledge and experience in Federal government accounting or consulting to the    Federal government
-Federal financial statement preparation experience
-Experience preparing and auditing Federal government financial statement is required
- At least 5  years of Federal government accounting policies and procedures or financial management is required
-CGFM and/or CPA a plus
