Deloitte Consulting's dynamic Federal Practice based in Washington D.C. and the surrounding Metropolitan area has opportunities for you to become part of their high-quality team that delivers innovative solutions to key Federal clients in financial management, business process improvement, strategy and operations, information systems development, package implementation, enterprise transformation, business process and applications outsourcing, and a full range of human capital advisory services.
The Organization & Talent practice is looking for qualified Sr. Consultants with experience in the area of Strategic Change, focused on managing the people challenges associated with large scale organizational change and transformation. This includes leading change, assessing and enhancing culture, aligning the organization, planning and executing strategic communications, and developing high performance organizations to execute on strategy. Specific business needs where strategic change is engaged
include mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, new business models such as shared services and outsourcing, and other large transformation programs such as Finance, HR, or IT transformation.
Job Duties:
- Participate in the assessment of the impact of change on organizations
- Assist in the application of selected behavioral tools to assess organizational culture, performance, and readiness for change
- Analyze data and participate in formulating the current- and future-state scenarios of a business operation
- Apply best practice information to support a business case for implementing high-yield opportunities for improvement
- Draft comprehensive change and transition plans, programs, and feedback tools, including communications strategies to support change initiatives and leadership
- Perform M&A due diligence relating to business and HR operations, processes, programs, leadership, and employee capability
Qualifications:
- Minimum
of 3 years relevant experience in an industry or consulting team-oriented environment in corporate operations, management and/or human resources-related fields
- Minimum of 2 years experience leading project teams on relevant organization strategy engagements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Must be eligible to receive US security clearance
- Experience working in the Federal industry
- Flexibility to travel as needed
Relevant Business & Technical Skills:
- MBA/Master's Degree preferred
- Prior Big 4 or other professional services experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong knowledge base in workforce transition, organization design and governance, learning capability and transfer, communication strategy, planning, and execution, talent requirements and HR programs, people risk and impact management and/or leadership design and stakeholder engagement
