Infinity Insurance Company, a national provider of personal automobile insurance, needs an ambitious, enthusiastic individual for the position of Field Initial Action Adjuster in the Tampa, FL metropolitan area. Minimum of one (1) year prior experience as a field property and casualty adjuster including auto damage appraising. Candidates without appraisal experience who have three (3) years experience as a property and casualty adjuster (field experience strongly preferred) may be considered, but must successfully complete the Basic Physical Damage course within six (6) months from the date of hire in order to remain in the position. 3. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Some positions may require specific bilingual skills.
This individual will be responsible for the investigation, valuation, establishment of exposure, negotiation and settlement of assigned property and casualty claims within a stipulated monetary authority. Focus is on handling all assigned claims in person. Ensures that all assigned claims are concluded promptly, equitably, and economically within the provisions of the policy contract and in accordance with the damages presented. EOE

4. Must have the ability to deal with conflict in a professional manner.
5. Must possess on a timely basis all licenses required by the state(s) assigned and participate in state required continuing education courses.
6. Ability to handle claims via an on-line claims system
7. If incumbent has no appraisal experience, must successfully complete Physical Damage Classes within 6 months of assignment and demonstrate the ability to write accurate appraisals in order to remain in position.
8. Must possess a valid operators license and maintain a good driving record.
9. Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred.
