The Field Human Resources team is seeking a new member to support Florida. Based in a home office in Orlando or Miami, the Field Human Resources team member will partner with our Regional Director and Area Coaches to lead and support recruiting and staffing initiatives, employee relations, and leadership development in the region.
Responsibilities include:
-Develop and execute regional staffing plan to ensure both internal and external pipeline of management candidates.
-Source external candidates using internet postings, Open House events, college recruiting, job fairs, and direct sourcing.
-Partner in the facilitation of People Planning to identify internal candidates and high potential associates.
-Facilitate resolution of employee relations issues and complaints, conducting investigations as needed.
-Follow up consistently with new hires to ensure adequate and proper training.
-Conduct field visits, interviews, and exit interviews to understand opportunities for improved retention.
-Conduct/facilitate local training and development sessions as needed. Topics may include, but are not limited to, 7 Habits, Sexual Harassment, Interviewing Skills, Conducting Effective Performance Reviews, Documentation & Discipline, Creating Individual Development Plans, and Retention.
-Coach and advise the leadership team on issues related to hiring, associate performance, career and personal development, resolving associate concerns, and termination.
-Bachelors degree
-4+ years of generalist experience including strong employee relations and recruiting, preferably in an operations retail/restaurant environment.
-Bilingual in Spanish preferred (but not required).
-Consistently demonstrates and teaches Panda's Mission and Values.
-Experience with interviewing, hiring, training and developing, and managing performance of associates.
-Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
-Strong relationship building skills.
-Self-motivated and self-disciplined. Able to work remotely and independently with minimal supervision.
-Excellent listening and assessment skills. Capable of diffusing and resolving conflicts.
-Confidence and ability to influence others, facilitate processes, and coach/advise operations leaders.
-Able to travel at least 60% within the state visiting stores
