Job Description
• • Focus on field sales force and the economy solutions medical systems market as a whole with attention to filling the opportunity funnel and driving the funnel to closed orders • Maintain the ER (Equipment Remarketing) opportunity funnel by managing opportunities on a daily basis • Convert opportunities into processed orders with accurate reporting of this data on a regular basis • Serve as primary contact with the sales organization for all ER sales situations that require strategizing with the specialist or sales account team • Responsible for positioning of all Diamond Select products (refurbished equipment) relative to Philips new offerings and the competition • Work with PMG and upstream PHRS Product Managers to understand and actively manage the Roadmap for New Products impacting long term ER strategies • Maintain a database of information on the competition reviewed and updated quarterly • Analyze market trends and growth opportunities for ER • Create creative product/pricing solutions in concert with sales/marketing teams • Attend various tradeshows. Responsible for demonstrator assignments, booth layout, displays and everything that is related to show success • Sales channel education (Example: Fast Start 1 and 2). Create and present all necessary ER training to Philips sales channels • Developing and execute an annual Marketing Communications Plan for Equipment Remarketing • Maintain a steady and continuous stream of communication flowing to the field. Use of monthly newsletters, targeted e-mail, QMI calls, Sales meeting participation etc • Maintain content for the customer focused Internet Site and the SSR Intranet site • Strategize, formulate and execute regular ER Promotions by establishing the promotion launch, communications plan and follow up of all ER promotions • Integrate ER strategies together with the strategies of the new equipment business • Maintain ER as a primary point of contact with PMC • Manage and track and develop all alternate channel opportunities. Maintain regular monthly meetings and conduct quarterly business reviews with our alternate channels • Ensure Diamond Select products are represented on each and every GPO contract • Represent ER and supply information in support of regular calls & meetings (ie: QMI, PSI, Dashboard, Ledford meetings, monthly business review etc.) • Work with SSR operations teams the field & factory to manage product offerings and ER price book following GPP principles. • Focus on field sales force and the economy solutions market as a whole with attention to filling the opportunity funnel and driving the funnel to orders
Requirements
• BS Degree in business or related field or equivalent (MBA a plus) • Strong market and medical imaging product knowledge • Strong oral and written communication ability and well developed presentation and organizational skills • The ideal candidate will have experience in or knowledge of the refurbished medical equipment market and be a team player.
