Responsible for repair on electrical and mechanical equipment within assigned Service Center territories. Troubleshoot and complete complex repairs within customer facilities as needed. Will occasionally be requested to conduct repair training and assistance, quality control training, and will be assigned to special projects as needed. Depending on the geographical distribution of assigned Service Centers, the Field Repair Technician may be required to travel up to 75% of the time.
Basic Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· 2 years with electrical/mechanical repair and troubleshooting work
· Experience with MS Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook
Other Qualifications:
- Ability to perform essential functions of the Field Repair Technician position and pass physical functional testing as required.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to operate independently and efficiently without close supervision.
- Ability to deal effectively with all employees and external business contacts while conveying a positive, service-oriented attitude.
- Ability to travel by commercial air service when travel is required.
- Ability to maintain complete confidentiality and discretion in business relationships and exercise sound business judgment.
- Must be willing and capable of traveling up to 75% of time.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Electrical and mechanical assembly training and/or certifications
- 2 years experience working with repair and maintenance of electrical equipment
- Associates degree in Electrical/Mechanical
