Field Sales Manager
Position Summary : • Territory is located in the Northeast Region (ME, NY, MA, RI, CT, NJ, NH and DE). • The role of the Field Sales Manager is to develop physician, customers and hospital accounts which generate sales for all chronic disease state therapies as required by Vice President of Specialty Initiatives. • Responsibilities include: developing strategies to increase market share through identification of target physicians, hospitals, and customers. • Responsible for multi-million dollar sales and profit goals. • High level customer contact with experienced physicians and hospital administration. • This position supports the Hemophilia and IVIG Specialty Sales line.
Qualifications : • Must be able to market services to physicians, nurses, pharmacy blood banks, and customers through sales presentations, cold calls and personal visits. • Maintains and develops established account relationships. • Analyze market potential to identify target physician groups and hospitals. • Coordinate sales efforts with internal resources: i.e. marketing, reimbursement, payor team, and nursing. • Troubleshot reimbursement problems and indentify reimbursement opportunities and coordinate these with reimbursement/payor team or other internal resources. • Establish daily goals, follow up on contracts and devise appropriate sales strategies. • Strong communication, interpersonal, analytic skills. • Results driven. • Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals. • Ability to demonstrate strong judgment to move projects or tasks to completion.
Education : • Undergraduate degree and/or equivalent work experience required
Experience : • Five years experience in health care sales environment. • Management experience preferred.
