Duties & Responsibilities
Troubleshooting, installation and repair of the semiconductor equipment including PVD & Etching Systems.
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks.
- Trouble Support & Customer Support
- Identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures.
- Orders and replaces parts as needed.
- Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers' needs.
- Makes a daily report and weekly report to the Field Service Engineering Manager.
- May require (1) hour telephone response and (4) hour on-site response between 8:30AM to 5:00PM in 7 days a week.
- Training
- Trains other Field Service Engineers and customer on equipment usage/maintenance.
Experience Requirements
- Must have 2~5 years experience as Vacuum Component repair service. Must have a good communication with employees and customers. This includes being available and in contact through various means, including wireless devices (such as pagers, cell phones, text messaging devices, etc.)
- Must be available and dependable for flexible schedule of work hours and business trip, including weekends.
- Must be able to work efficiently, independently and with minimum supervision.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's/Technical degree in related areas or equivalent experience is preferred.
