A world leader that manufactures and markets tools for the construction industry and the building maintenance industry is actively interviewing for a Senior Field Engineer for the SouthEast. The Senior Field Engineer will provide technical support to the Energy and Industry salesforce and to the Energy customer, establish a rapport with Engineering and Construction clients and make assessments of job site requirements. Responsibilities - Provide technical assistance and support to the customers design groups, client’s sales personnel and design/build firms
- Developing, administering and coordinating product specifications and approval of clients products with Engineering & Design Firms
- Investigate product failures in the field and take action on field problems
- Provide professional educational seminars and presentations for A/E firms (Architectural & Engineering)
- Establish and maintain contacts with key customers, provide technical support on key projects
- Maintain Project Status on client projects, provide technical assistance in selecting proper equipment, be the go to person
Requirements - Knowledgeable of construction methods and practices is a must
- Experience in energy, power plants or refineries is a definite plus
- 4 years experience in engineering or related technical field
- 3-5 years experience as a Field Engineer or Sales Engineer is a definite plus
- Project management mentality, analyzes problems and provide solutions, communicates effectively and coordinates the team effort

Questions you will be asked:
• Do you have 3-5 years Field or Sales Engineer experience, please describe?
• Please describe your knowledge of construction methods and practices specifically any experience with energy, power plants or refineries?
• Describe your presentation-training and communication skills? Do you hold a BS? Do you hold an EIT?
• This is project selling, you will meet with Engineering and Design firms, A&E groups and construction contractors discussing applications for a complete project . What type of project skills do you have? and give some examples of successes selling products to these groups?
• Where do you presently live? This position will cover a territory from Louisiana and Tennessee to the East Coast. Ideally the candidate will live in Atlanta, GA. Candidates that live in these states will not have to move. The position has a bonus at a standard of $14491. Additional opportunities are available.
