About the Opportunity: Our field service technicians travel nationally and internationally on service, PM and installations for our custom-designed automation equipment. Our field service team agrees that the job stays interesting because of the wide range of applications and our varied customer base. Service calls include:
- troubleshoot and diagnosis of operating issues
- review schematics for PLC ladder logic, HMI or Servo
- implement repairs
- training of operators and technicians
- collaborate with home office service & engineering team on resolution
Back at the office service techs catch up on trip follow-up, parts requests and assists our parts department with service part kit prep. Field service technicians also participate in our after hours phone rotation
About the Requirements: Qualified candidates will have 2+ years prior field technical experience maintaining &/or repairing automated packaging equipment. A related two year degree and high familiarity with motion control, PLCs, HMI touch screens required. This position requires 60 - 75% national & international travel. All candidates must have a valid passport & valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record.
Compensation: Salary and travel incentive/per diem. Full benefits.
