We have an exciting opportunity in the Wind Energy field for a Field Service Technician.  This position is based in Seattle, WA.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Troubleshoot, repair, assemble, test, install and perform maintenance on Power Climber Wind equipment and accessories.

Travel up to 80%, throughout North America to remote wind farm locations.

Train Customers on basic installation and repair procedures.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. 

This position requires that the employee be able to climb ladders to the top of wind turbines, which can be up to 300 feet high, on an occasional basis but as often as four times in a day. This position further requires that an employee be able to lift up to 100 lbs. on an infrequent basis, sit, stand, walk, reach, stretch, climb, crouch, push or pull large objects, and grasp and carry heavy objects. Additionally, the position may occasionally require performance of mechanical tasks at elevation (up to 300 feet above the ground). The employee must not have a fear of heights or confined spaces.
