In support of our growth, we
are seeking to add a Field Support Representative position to our HVAC
team.  PECO personnel regularly interface with our customers, suppliers,
and coworkers across business unit lines within manufacturing, accounting,
purchasing, sales & customer service, and engineering to analyze needs and
develop solutions.  It is imperative to our growth that we have a team of
individuals who are willing to challenge ideas and continuously strive to make
improvements.

Performs installations, customer training, and equipment maintenance.

×          
Evaluates and resolves customer equipment and applications issues.

×          
Evaluate customer requirements and make product recommendations

×          
Advises customers of service programs and alternatives.

×          
Serves as an expert technical resource to customers, channel partners,
and the sales organization.

×          
Understand detailed product/engineering specifications and work with
technical writers to create manuals and installation instructions

×          
Attend tradeshows – assist with setup & tear down, represent PECO in
the booth

×          
Analyze competitive products and make product improvement recommendations

Position Requirements:

×          
Associate’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation
technology or substantial (10+ years) field experience within the HVAC industry
working with controls contractors and/or distributors or as a manufacturers
representative

×          
Advanced practical knowledge of various HVAC systems including fan coils,
PTAC, Heat pump and conventional gas furnaces

×          
Experience providing training in individual and group (seminar) settings

×          
Proven mechanical, electrical, and electronic aptitude.

×          
Demonstrated time management and customer relations skills.

×          
Excellent computer skills with demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; knowledge of or aptitude to learn
Publisher and/or Photoshop (or equivalent).

×          
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

×          
Valid passport and driver’s license.

×          
Willingness to travel extensively (~20%) in the US and Canada.  Available for provide on-call support as
required.
