We are currently searching for a Field Technician for our client in the San Marcos/Escondido area. Position Type: Field Technician/Support Service Engineer
Position Duration: direct hire
Location: San Marcos/Escondido
Qualifications:
· Strong Customer Service experience (at least 1-3 years)
· Technical aptitude & technical service skills (e.g., POS machines)
· PC hardware/software knowledge & support experience
· Military or electronics background a plus
· 40 hr. work week; 24/7 on-call support including possibly 2 weekends per month
· Able to lift 50 lbs over head
· Capable of handling physically demanding work requiring extensive time standing and/or moving
· Valid driver’s license and good MVR
· Microsoft Word, Excel
· Drug test & background check required
· A+ Certification (or comparable technical certification) is a major plus
· Must live within the San Marcos/Escondidometropolitan area
