HT Staffing Professional is a nationwide search firm currently partnering with a manufacturing company that is seeking to identify a Controller. This company is rapidly growing and there is substantial room for career growth.

Job Description:

• Plan, organize, and direct the activities of the accounting team covering General Accounting, Inventory, Accounts Payable, Invoicing, and Collections.
• Review and approve all accounting activities of the Company to ensure full compliance with GAAP. Well rounded knowledge in the areas of inventory, cost accounting, revenue recognition (percentage of completion) and equity.
• Coordinate and oversee monthly financial closing and preparation of consolidated financial statements in accordance with GAAP for senior management.

Requirements:

• BS/BA in Accounting and current CPA
• Minimum ten years of professional experience; manufacturing company experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and audit procedures required
• Working knowledge of accounting software and MS Excel and Word; Quickbooks experience preferred
