Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide business unit management with analytical support, including P&L projections, ratio analysis, and cost analysis related to business models.
- Interact with accounting group to analyze transactions impacting the business unit during month-end close.
Participate in the preparation and compilation of annual financial plan.
p& - Respond to written and verbal information requests from internal customers and other as assigned.
- Utilize trends and business understanding to develop forecasts and estimates of future performance.
- Develop and distribute standard and ad-hoc monthly reporting.
- Must have interpersonal communication skills and the ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of management.
Must have strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills. Also must have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, preference to SAP-Business Warehouse.
- 7 or more years experience is highly preferred.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge of GAAP, financial analysis and complex accounting systems.
Work Experience Requirements:
4-6 years accounting and finance experience.
Education Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting, or related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the level of expertise necessary to perform the full scope of the positon may be acceptable.
