Act as liason between Finance and Global Corporate Cognos Group
Validate financial information amongst various Cognos models and other financial models (e.g. SAP, SAS FM, etc)
Develop and maintain P&L, Capital and FTE reports for Plan, Mid-Year review and monthly forecasts
Ensure BU Finance customer needs are met within the Corporate deadlines
Analyze financial data, identify and rectify any issues, and maintain the integrity of financial data in the Cognos system.
Other duties as required by VP, Finance
Bachelor's degree in finance or computer science
8-10 years of prior work experience
5+ years work experience in Cognos financials
Strong written, quantitative and verbal communication skills
Ability to effectively communicate financial information to business unit finance staff as well as senior management
Large company experience and/or publishing experience a plus.
Hands-on and detail oriented.
Strong work ethic and the ability to interact well with people at various levels within the organization.
Must be a team player with initiative and demonstrated ability to work in a challenging work environment.
Cognos and SAP/BEX reporting experience a plus
